Notes: A dark, rich, traditional strong ale brewed with toasted malts and aged on a bed of oak. Its bitterness is masked by roasted oak and smooth caramel flavors

I tried this beer at the brewery. The beer poured a clear amber with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had caramel malt and earth notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet caramel malt base and subtle peat finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a good beer!

Review 3/21/2021 of a liquor store bomber. Per TG, toasted malts and aged on a bed of oak (probably chips). nose of slight dank oak wood; Amber orange hue with tan lacy head; full velvet mouthfeel with smooth slightly boozy carbonation; Nice subtle bitter oak taste with caramel notes finishing with an immediate lingering dry hop back throat bitterness. NOTE: This beer replaced the original English IPA Naughty 90 that was oak barrel kegged. I find this one very similar but the oak taste is more subdued, the caramel is a bit more pronounced and the bitterness is less. The nose is a bit better than the original N90.
