Stranded on a desolate road with nothing but the backpack that reminds him it wasn’t always like this. Lavish parties, mansions, and fountains of hazy IPA used to be the norm. He didn’t choose the Ferrari lifestyle. It chose him. It may escape him now, but this stallion will ride again. We vibed out with our compadres at Lua Brewing Company to manifest liquid opulence. Brewed with a pretentiously golden aesthetic, loaded with luxuriously oil-laden hops, and soft as thousand thread count sheets. Drink fresh. Pinkies out.

Call it "Unfiltered," but it's as cloudy a beer as I've ever seen. Sort of grayish yellow with a ring of foam in the snifter. Very sweet and juicy. Orange slush with canned peaches and a twist of lemon peel. Can't fault the super-fruity aroma of papaya and pineapple with citrus chaser.
Overall this is more New England than not, but let's just say it's a high-octane murk bomb. Less acidic than most of the NE brethren but still unpleasantly harsh. From the 16 oz can purchased at some southern California big box. Dated 06/10/21 and they have the decency to add a "best by" date that is only a month past.

Thick looking delishous orange with an okay head, some lacing.
Bold floral boutique, fruit stands out.
Mmmmm! resinous pine, passion fruits, mango, pineapple.

Pours a hazy orange with thick, fluffy head.
Smell is juicy and fruity with notes of passionfruit, lime, pineapple and hints of coconut and grass.
Taste is juicy with a solid bitterness. Notes of passionfruit, cactus, lime, coconut and grass. Hints of orange sorbet on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy with good carbonation.
Overall, a terrific DIPA, as usual from TG.

16oz can fill date 5/14/21 into a large snifter.
L: Pours a hazy thick yellow-gold dust orange with a thick pock-marked 1" off white eggshell head that has good retention and some lacing. It is gently carbonated.
S: Tropical fruits, orange pith, papaya, tang, coconut, pineapple, tangerine, a hint of alcohol as the beer warms, light biscuit malt.
T: Tangy tangerine, peach, papaya, tart orange, lime & lemon zest, apricot, sweet caramel and pine at the end. It is slightly oily, moderately tart and lightly bitter overall. There's a slight hint of grass, no alcohol burn and it is sweet tasting on the lips.
F: Medium-heavy bodied with an initially brisk then plush mouthfeel. It has a medium-long finish, is very lightly chewy and slightly drying.
O: It's a bit sweet AND sour in many good ways. Zesty citrus and multiplicity of fruit flavors create a commanding taste that disguises the 7.8%ABV quite well. An excellent Double IPA.

Pours cloudy gold color with an off white one finger silky head. Pungent stonefruit notes on the nose, maybe a touch of jolly rancher. Taste is similar with dense nectarine and orange notes as well as a touch of candied sweetness in the finish. Feel is very soft and creamy with a light to moderate bitterness in the finish. Very good, maybe a touch more piquant than a typical NEIPA but well made.
