Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned on 10/08/21. Pours a very attractive orange yellow with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.25

Aroma honeydew, pineapple, coconut, mandarin, apricot, and some white grapefruit rind. 4.25

Taste follows honeydew, pineapple, mandarin, coconut, and a little hint of grapefruit. 4.25

Mouthfeel is above average, not dry or sticky, soft gentle carbonation, and well I don’t know ABV assuming 8%, but not marked on the can but it is loaded with flavor. 4.25

Overall this brewery always delivers a well made and tasty beer. This is unique in my opinion. 4.25

Very strong offering from TG. A very sharp, catty, tropical, bitter and maybe slightly astringent hazy. No sign of heat or warmth. High IBUs and no vegetal notes. I love that TG’s hazies have such pronounced bitterness. The biggest negative is the appearance is a little murky for my idea of ideal. Otherwise this one is darn near perfect.

With the more assertive flavor hops of Galaxy and Citra, but then with the supplemental softer hops of Idaho 7 and Cashmere, the flavors that come out of Toppling Goliath's hazy imperial IPA is simply wizardry.

Turbid in it's haze and colored like lemon curd, Witch's Broom tops off with a cottony white cap before mesmerizing the senses with a tropical, tangy, citrus and tantalizing perfume. As the forbidden flavors grace the tongue, a firm cracker-sweet, cereal, pastry and slightly doughy malt profile eases the palate into the session.

As the malt sweetness drifts away, the full brunt of hops share a bold taste of white grapefruit, tangerine, passionfruit and white grape with an slight sugar glazed ripeness and a soothing softness of coconut cream. Both delicate and bold, the ale trends much more bitter than the standard hazy ale with a grassy, stemmy and herbal bite of green tea, verbena, lemongrass and white wine.

Medium bodied and trending spicy with hops, peppery with resins and drying on the palate, the hazy ale finishes decidedly on the bitter side of bittersweet with an herbal extension of hemp and gin-like botanicals. This witch is seductive but has a rugged edge as well.
