Pours a gold color with a large foamy head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of grapefuit and orange. Taste is grapefuit with a slight hoppy bitterness at the finish. Smooth and creamy.

Last of a four pack of tallboys, into a stemmed tulip. Pour is a very thick and dense haze, faded tangerine color, 1 finger head, decent retention, good lacing. Nose is bright but kind of underripened green citrus and tropical fruit. Taste has the fruit present on the nose, but also some piney bitterness, and citrus peel and pith. A little bit of heat toward the end, which is surprising in an ipa from these guys, but it just a little bit.

All in all: well constructed, great tasting. There are many many good to great neipas out there; this is a very good one.

Look: hazy yellow/golden with a thick white head

Aroma: Mango, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pine resin

Flavor: Mango, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, tangerine, and then a piney hop bitterness at the end. It is both fruity, thirst quenching and it is nicely bitter with a floral and tropical fruit aroma.

Body/Overall: medium body, it is very good

Poured from a can into a small stemmed tulip. A very nice NE IPA, but just another one in a thousand “tastes the same.”

A - Pours an opaque hazy dark orange with a white three- finger head. Good lacing. The orange color is bright more vivid than most (+). A good amount of sediment in the final pour from the can.

S - substantive aroma of citrus with pineapple.

T - Easy drinking IPA with citrus, herbal and some minor resiny notes. Not a hop bomb when compared to some beers these days.

MF - medium light body with a dry finish. No chalkiness.

Copper colored with a hazy complexion. There’s a solid inch of densely packed, creamy off white to beige on top. That quickly faded to a quarter inch and there’s a heavy amount of soapy lacing. The aroma is of green veggies and melon. I’m tasting green veggies and unripe melon. The mouth is smooth and inviting.

From the bottom of the can: "PKG08/23/23 09:31:24"

Appearance: The body is very hazy but it just barely allows some fuzzy shadows through it. The body has this orange gummy bear color to it with a similar opacity. The head is white, medium-large, and has excellent retention. It has a fluffy composition with ripples and dimples across the surface. It leaves great looking lacing.

Aroma; There is a bit of a fruit aroma which smells kind-of like a fruit cup with notes of tangerine and peach syrup. At first it had this cabbage scent but that quickly went away and the fruit cup aroma got a bit stronger. There is a noticeable alcohol scent. The can states that this is "ALC. 7% BY VOL" which seems a bit low for the alcohol presence on the nose.

Taste: Peach flavor up front with a bit of papaya and white grape. It tastes a bit like a fruit cup which is similar to how it smelled. Towards the middle of the mouth is has a stronger alcohol flavor which gives it a bit of a fruit liqueur flavor which is interesting but a bit weird. A bit of bitter grapefruit and a slight hint of pine towards the back which also lingers around.

Mouthfeel: The can only states that this is an "India Pale Ale" but it's listed here as a New England IPA. Aside from the appearance this is much closer to a standard IPA than a NEIPA. It has a medium hop bitterness with a touch of bite which is nice for an IPA. The body feels light and fairly drinkable. The alcohol presence isn't a huge deal for an IPA but it's more noticeable than comparable beers of the same ABV.

Overall: As a whole it felt pretty average. The flavors and aroma were alright but for an IPA that's only 7% it felt like the alcohol presence in both the aroma and flavor were a bit intrusive. The beer is a bit of an odd mixed-bag with some fruity characters and then pine on the finish, but each of these were alright on their own. I probably wouldn't recommend it or buy it again but it's one of those beers you could drink if somebody handed you one.

16oz can poured into a snifter

A- pours a hazy pale orange color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a film

S- smells of zesty and juicy tangerine, ripe peach, mango, cantaloupe, a trace of pineapple

T- zesty and juicy citrus up front, followed by tropical notes of ripe mango, pineapple and green melon. Mid-palate gives some hop resin and a hint of sweet red berry, the finish gives more mango and citrus zest

M- medium body with medium carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a crisp finish
