Playa Del Mundo pours a hazy, golden/orangeish color with a smallish, long-lasting head. The aroma is light, dry, and has papaya notes. The flavor is dry, on the bitter side, with notes of papaya and mango, a little lighter. Good feel. It is a little lighter, especially for Toppling Goliath, but it has nice fruit flavors, dry and a nice bitter.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of sweet citrus with slight grassiness. Tastes of sweet grain and citrus with grass. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Poured from a can. Dark golden and hazy with a white head and lacing. Smells of pine, tropical fruit and floral hints. Flavor follows the smell with nothing jumping out at you. Solid but nothing special

Packaged 05/29/24 listed at 6.8% Pours a murky amber/gold color with a thick white head. Aroma is faint, citrus, malt, and some tropical fruit. Flavor follows the nose, sweet up front, slight hop bite in the finish. Feel is medium bodied and well carbonated. Overall, again another hazy IPA.

Cloudy AF, beautiful and golden milky copper color with thicker than loogie lacing. Smell is mild wheat and earthy notes. Taste is malty honey and suppressed hops with a powder dry finish. A great and different India pale ale that would be a nice gateway to hoppier more assertive iterations.

12 oz. Can
PKG: 05/14/24

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy dark yellow color, with some pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, guava, apricot), with a pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, guava, apricot), with a very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!

12oz can, PKG05/16/24
L: very hazy and opaque yellow-golden body; tall & frothy off-white head leaves chunky lacing on the glass
S: zesty & floral citrus & tropical fruit
T: super zesty & refreshing with notes of lemon-lime, guava, passion fruit, melon, and pine
F: medium body, moderate carbonation, zesty, tart, and bitter finish - heavy handed hops burn the throat a bit
O: great beer for summertime and laying around by the pool

12 oz can pkgd 5/14/24 into a Becker.
L: SRM 4.5 Pours an apricot dark orange-gold color with a 1" off white puffy head that recedes to soapy edge foam, light steady carbonation, leaves medium-thick loose random soapy lacing.
S: Tropical fruits, very citrusy, quite floral, a very subtle dank note.
T: Orange, a suggestion of hibiscus flower, very light papaya, light citrus zest, resin, caramelized malts, perhaps a German hop note, it is slightly robust.
F: Smooth and fairly juicy medium-bodied mouthfeel with a smooth finish that is very long and is lightly drying. The body of the drink has a medium-short length finish whereas the taste linger is long.
O: Very nicely done and a good Collab. It has a loose feel (not wild) and a blossoming taste of fruits at its peak ripeness. A nice breakfast beer. It is very good to excellent in its style.
