HDHC Broccoli Special Reserve - Freaky Friday pours a hazy orangish color with a perfect sized, long-lasting, frothy, lacing head. The aroma is fresh and dank, with a vegetable note. The flavor is a bit more bitter, very dank and fresh, and has a nice vegetable note. Good feel. Overall, it is a great, slightly more bitter, hazy IPA.

Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, with some very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some very nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, nectarine, apricot, lychee, cantaloupe), with a very nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, nectarine, apricot, lychee, cantaloupe), with a very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!

The beauty of a beer it forward is you get to try beers from other areas. In this freaky Friday series quality brewers swap their own favorite recipes and see how it develops under the other Brewers hands. I received from @victory_sabre1973in BIF 18 a freaky Friday collaboration between Toppling Goliath and other half. undoubtedly two excellent brewers. Toppling Goliath brewed Other Galfs , HDHC broccoli, special reserve, A double dry hopped India imperial pale ale
A 16 ounce can poured into a pretentious beer glass created an orang haze topped by a white shaving cream, two finger foam cap with great retention. Despite the haze, I see massive carbonation bubbles percolating through the liquid.
Aroma is sweet tropixal, pineapple in particular
Taste is dank with some sweet pineapple, orange citrus
Smooth with a semi dry dank finish and a go bite
Good collaboration beer , thanks for sending this beer my way ! If you are reading this forum and haven’t tried a bif…..you should!

On tap at Donnelly’s Public House in Rochester, NY.
This one pours an extremely hazy and creamy looking golden yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells super fruity and super juicy – just intensely saturated with hops.
This is extremely pineapple and mango forward, but it’s honestly a bit too much. There’s no bitterness, and the overriding hoppy creaminess is just pushed up way too far – it’s got a hoppy thickness that’s almost chewable, and not in an entirely enjoyable way.
This is very thick, very creamy, and very saturated feeling, with no real bitterness. It’s not as drinkable as it could be.
This was extremely ridiculous, and not superbly cleanly executed.

Pours a hazy yellow gold color with a foamy head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of grapefuit and other tropical fruits. Taste is peppery grapefuit with a slightly bitter finish.
