Ferocious hop aromas of citrus and mango; bright with a bite. Hints of passionfruit too.

Canned 5/12/26
Appearance: Pours a mostly clear (85% clarity) medium and bright orange color with a massive white head. SRM of 8. Amazing can art. (4.25)
Aroma: Aromas of orange, tangerine, earthy melon, berries, with a tropical berry in floral pine on the finish. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavors follow with orange, tangerine, distinct tropical, blueberries, and melon. And earthy resonance, Berry and pine flavor lingers underneath the end with a moderate bitterness. Finishes, clean and dry. (4.00)
Feel: Medium bodied, appropriate carbonation, finishes resinous with a moderate lingering bite. Clean and dry. (3.75)
Overall: A brand new fresh West-Coast Sue release from Toppling Goliath. West Coast Sue. Citra and Mosaic. Tangerine upfront that mixed with tropical blueberries and berry flower with a mild floral and pine bite. Drinks clean and easy, with a mild bite. It's not true West-Coast, but a good American IPA. Look at that can art though. Amazing upgrade and the best-looking depiction of the monster T-Rex Sue. (Rating: 3.99)

Canned 5/12/26. (sigh) Another modern westie with good balance/mouthfeel; medium hoppiness; a subtle citrusy/tropicalish/malty flavor and a clean, crisp, slightly resiny finish but still a far cry from an old-school westie. Very quaffable though.

Aroma is fruit and piney/very nutty hops/almost a hint of salt. The flavor is citrus/fruit, malts/grains and nutty/hint of salt/very clean/bitter hop finish.

On tap at The Brass Tap, Cedar Falls, IA; served in a 5-ounce snifter. Pale yellow in color, with a thin white head. Fruity notes of pineapple and mango up front, with light malt and a little pine resin. Medium bodied, with decent bitterness and a clean and crisp finish. Okay beer, but I expected it to be more like PseudoSue. Further research may be warranted.
