Pours hazy light orange with a thick white head, nice lacing. Aroma is pineapple, orange and other tropical and citrus fruits. Flavor follows the nose. Feel is medium bodied with adequate carbonation. Overall, nice like so many other hazy IPAs.

Purchased at J's in Athens.
LOOK: Pours a heavily hazed orange grapefruit color with a solid near pure white head with good retention but receding to a thin skin. Side glass lace is plentiful and lasting.
AROMA: Has a foundation of mosaic acerbic hops with citrus of orange and grapefruit overtones.
TASTE: Juicy with a bit of bread malts. with plenty of hops that don't overwhelm the palate. Mildly tart, mildly bitter.
OVERALL: Drying, and overall just a delicious and solid New England IPA.

Orange in color A super white fluffy head. Nose is all about the citrus. Maybe also some pineapple on the nose taste is citrus then the tastebuds are slammed by the bitterness. .

Canned 2/19/24
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (0% clarity) medum to deep orange color with a massive white head that lingers. SRM of 8. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, tropical pineapple, melon, papaya, some mango. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, pineapple, tropical melon, papaya, with tropical OJ pulp on the finish. Balanced finish. (4.25)
Feel: Medium bodied, strong carbonation. Mild bitterness from the pulp. Zesty, clean, but full body on the finish. (4.00)
Overall: Nice and balanced hop combo. Nice citrus notes balanced by the tropical Simcoe and Mosaic. It's balanced and well-rounded. A bit lighter, but still full of flavor. They don't seem to make one-offs every week that you'll forget. They seem to make IPAs, commit to them and distribute for a while. This one is worth. You can expect the quality to be there. This one is great. (Rating: 4.12)

Pulled together with Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe and Galaxy, Toppling Goliath's IPA promises to be lip-smackin' good.
Pouring a typical and hazy golden-orange hue, Haze Smacker comes out swinging with a cottony froth and a billowing scent of over-ripened tropical and citrus fruit, and with an herbal array that crosses over from citronella to patchouli. As its cereal sweet taste hits the tongue, notions of caramel, honey and shortcake develop.
With the hop billowing on the middle palate, its an almost bruised fruit character of pineapple, mango, passionfruit and papaya that's saved by a more racy citrus taste of orange, lime and grapefruit. Trending more herbal with black tea, cannabis, geranium and chive give the session a nod to a more dirty and dank bitter balance.
Medium bodied and off-clean, Haze Smacker finishes on the more bitter side of bitter-sweet and is intent to revert back to a more soilish and dank bitterness in the sacrifice of citrus and crispness.
