Nelson Sauvin Dry Hop Pseudo Sue is delicate in body with a mild bitterness in the finish. Ferocious aromas of pineapple & grapefruit give a refreshing taste that is bright with just enough bite!

12 ounce can into willi becher glass, canned on 9/24/2024. Pours opaquely hazy/turbid golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin fluffy cap that lingers with spotty foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big white grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pear, red apple, white grape/wine, passionfruit, melon, gooseberries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Medium pine, citrus rind, woody, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; balanced creamy/grainy malts and sticky/resinous hop mouthfeel. Fairly crisp from lingering resin dryness, minimal lingering hop astringency. Bit of lingering hop burn/abv warmth after the finish. Refreshingly drinkable for a hazy, a ton of hop dankness/vibrancy of Nelson, with a nicely soft malt backbone.

Very hazy/cloudy orange gold color with a respectable and lasting white head and some nice lacing.
The aroma is grapefruit and pineapple.
The taste is grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, hints of passion fruit and honeydew melon, slightly sweet, definitely tart. The finish is citrus zest with a touch of pine and grass, moderate bitterness.
The body is medium, pleny of carbonation, very drinkable. Altogether, this is a very tasty and refreshing brew, definitely for the hop lover but still nicely balanced, this could be nice for a day at the beach, but I would gladly drink it anytime for any reason, outstanding.

Looking for a beer that you can really sink your teeth into, Toppling Goliath’s beer that bites back does so with a finish of Nelson Sauvin hops and all its tropical, citrusy and nearly winey character.
Nelson Sauvin Dry-Hopped Pseudo Sue pours with the same hazy goldenrod appearance as others in the Sue series. As its lofty white cap rises, so do a burst of tropical fruit, citrus and vinous herbs. Sweeter impressions of shortcake, honey and cereal coats the tongue for a sweeter, creamier upstart.
As the hops billow on the middle palate, they bring a starburst of tangerine, white grapefruit, pineapple, passionfruit, kiwi and white grape that easily takes command from the malt. Trending smoothly bitter, the ale trends malty-dry and with a stern hop bite of fruit peel, grape skin, grassy herbs, hemp and verbena.
Medium bodied, drying and smooth, the ale finishes slightly more bitter than sweet and with a refreshing mouthfeel for such hazy ale. Its a great variation of a beer that needs no upgrades.

Pours a very hazed gold with 2 fingers of whippy beige head. Very good head retention & lacing
S: Some tropical fruit, citrus & hints of coconut, fades a bit
T: Pineapple, coconut, green melon, passion fruit & dryness up front. Dryness, green melon & white grapes dominate as this beer warms up, a touch if pomelo as well. Finishes dry, with pomelo, lime & green melon & a little pineapple
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, good balance
Drinks easy enough just doesn't really wow me
