On a strange and faraway planet, Boulevard Brewing Co. and Toppling Goliath stumbled on each other, joined forces for the first time ever, and created a DIPA worth exploring, featuring Citra, Citra Cryo and Strata Hops.

Another 7.8% TG that's a tasy, well balanced 2x-kinda NE ipa, this time a collab w/Boulevard. Thick haze, good mouthfeel, nice hoppy bite & a subtle citrusy/fruity/juicy flavor & lingering backend. Very quaffable.

Haze Cadet pours a hazy orange color with a small, long-lasting lacing head. The aroma is a little sweeter, with hints of orange. The flavor is dry and a little sweet, with nice hints of orange. Good feel. Overall, it is a dry and sweet, hazy IPA with hints of orange.

Citra, citra, citra! Very good DIPA! Pours an orange hazy with decent head. Tastes citrus and hops with smooth good bite. Well done!

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 4/5/24, so 10 weeks old.
Nice looking beer, pale orange body, small white head, dripping rings of lacing. Aroma of non citrus fruit. On tasting, slightly creamy, warming, non-citrus hoppy taste with a light herbal touch. The body is on the thin side of medium, which struck me as odd. Certainly a worthwhile drink though.

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 4-15-24 into a tulip glass at 50 degrees.
Look- Dull straw, white frothy head, opaque, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Grapefruit, melon, guava, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Melon, grapefruit, guava, papaya, medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Full body, slightly below average carbonation, mildly prickly, mildly sweet, mildly bitter, mildly creamy, silky, mildly mouth warming.
Overall- This beer provided a very nice drinking experience. Great look and feel with a bouquet that was more simple than the flavor profile.

I found this at my Total Wine in Daytona Beach and just because of the Brewery who I like a lot. I thought I’d try a four pack. I’m glad I did. It’s a very nice smooth very drinkable beer. I’ll give it a solid very good and I would absolutely buy it again, if it ever comes up. Is the first time I’ve seen this Hayes Cadet on sale at Total Wine. Well done.
