Close cousin to our Twisted Galaxy, this single hop IPA also showcases the Galaxy hop from Australia. Dank citrus aroma and a medium body with slight herbal dankness.

Growler ala Casanova.
Hazy golden body with a tight ivory cap. Nice web-like lace. Aroma is all about the hops, as it should be. Not a lot of malt nuances, rather tropical fruity hop tones abound. And some pungent wafts as well. Delicious flavor. Juicy, ripe fruity hop notes. A very nice lingering bitterness. Malts support, that's all. If I were to try and put a finger on a signature flavor for the Galaxy hop in the beer, I'd say guava/grapefruit. I really like the bitterness in this one. Quenching. Very drinkable. Very enjoyable.

A. 1 inch head. Very hazy orange yellow color. Almost looks like fruit juice. Good retention. Ok lacing.
S. All hop smell. Galaxy hops apparently. Really fruity citrusy hop smell.
T. Fruity hop taste. Very good ipa . Mango, grapefruit, pineapple. Good hop bitterness. One of the best IPAs that I have had that showcases the fruit and citrus qualities that hops can produce. Very flavorful. Drinks extremley easy.
M. Nice mouthfeel. A bit of lingering bitterness.
O. TG is cranking out some stellar IPAs. Alternate Galaxy is right up there with some of the best I have ever had. Really nice use of hops. Great aroma, taste, and mouthfeel.

I had this on-tap at the Sanctuary in a shaker pint.
Appearance- The cloudy copper-gold body has a nice finger-width of whipped cream cap. There are numerous tiny bubbles dappling the pillowy head. There is decent retention with really great sheet lace.
Smell- Citrus hops are all over the place. Do peaches count as citrus? Because there are definitely peaches in here, whatever. Also a great scent of sweet oranges and a little bit of passion fruit. Even a slightly peppery feel tickling the old nostrils.
Taste- Holy hop tingles! That feels great. The orange really stands out, especially mid-drink and into the finish. I have not had an IPA that had such definite orange flavor.
A little lemon kicks up the citrus factor, and the peach adds a little musty, sweet quality to the proceedings.
Oh, and malt, can not forget about the malt. Definitely of the biscuit variety, a little wheaty and sweet. Luckily, it has the sense to let the hops do all the work and just hang out in the finish. Uh yeah, pretty awesome.
Mouth feel- Beer is not too bad here either. It is a solid medium body, and the carbonation is tuned pretty well, not as creamy as it could be, but still good. It does have a slight watery quality because it is not "sticking" in the mouth.
Overall- This IPA may be even better than the DIPA version that used the same Galaxy hops. IPA's are brewed by many, but TG is one of the few that keeps them new, and delicious. Enjoy.
