A well-balanced beer that is delicate in body with a mild bitterness in the finish. Ferocious notes of citrus and woody aromatics give a refreshing taste that is bright with just enough bite!

I got a tall boy can of this beer off the single shelf from the Perfect Pour in Dublin, Ohio. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with dank tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Canned 2/18/26. Another well balanced Sue variant with thick haze; good mouthfeel and hoppy bite; a citrusy/orangey/juicy flavor and a slightly lingering aftertaste. Nice aroma too. Very quaffable.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a Shaker pint glass, "PKG" date "02/18/2026".
APPEARANCE: pours an extremely dense, straw color with one-finger white head that slowly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, lighter carbonation, there is heavy lacing on the glass.
SMELL: there is some pineapple citrus, an earthy note and bread.
TASTE: initially sweet pineapple citrus and bread then a mild earthy hop bite on the finish.
PALATE: medium body and velvety smooth.
OVERALL: this is a fantastic looking beer, nearly perfect, the smell was pleasant and I found this to be a very balanced beer, not too sweet on the entry and not too bitter on the finish, the hop profile was unusual in that is was earthy rather than pine resin but it really worked for me, I would have this again no problem and would recommend to anyone who likes Pale Ale.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of bright fresh citrus and earthy/piney notes. Tastes of bright citrus with nice pine notes, nice and crisp. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Kind of a murky gold, not a ton of head, but lots of lacing.
Nose is grape musk, peach, light citrus
Taste is a little pine, grape again, light tropical fruit
Body is a little watery, and the finish is super dry.
Overall, kind of a letdown given some of the other outstanding Pseudo Sue’s.

Pseudo Sue Krush from Toppling Goliath. Single 16 fl oz can, picked up 15/11/25, at HEB #45, New Braunfels, TX, $5.29 (including tax)/$ 0.331/fl oz. On room temperature shelf in store. Reviewed 19/11/25, review 3637. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Bottom of can stamped “PKG09/04/2025.” Stored at home at 37 degrees F. Served at 42.6 degrees F in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature is 51.6 degrees F.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Straw (SRM 3), opaque.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), opaque. Under direct light, same. When rear-lite, same.
Head – Average (Maximum 2.9 cm, aggressive center pour). White, high density, average retention, quickly dropping to a 0.6 – 1.5 cm jagged lacey crown and thin cap.
Lacing – Poor. Odd-shaped small islands of low-density bubbles are scattered about the glass.
Aroma – 3.5 – Virtually none, - no malt, weak tropical fruity hops, no alcohol (5.8 % ABV according to the label)
Flavor – 4.25 – Begins slightly bitter with mild tropical fruits (mango, guava). No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. No gastric warming. Ends slightly bitter.
Palate – 4 – Medium: Approaching creamy: Soft but lively carbonation.
Style: Follows the BA style description.
Final impression and summation: 4 Uncredited art work, as usual. The Pseudo Sue line of Pale Ales continues to bring hope for goodness but somehow is devolving into a morass of experimental and new hops, few of which can compete with the original formula.

Pours a very hazed gold with a thumb+ of eggshell colored head. Good head retention & great lacing
S: Oranges, guavas. some catty notes once warm, plus a little onion
T: Pomelo, woody dryness, white grapes & passion fruit up front. Pomelo, pineapple & plenty of dryness, a touch of pine & coconut as this warms up. Finishes dry as a Baptist Wedding with pomelo, passion fruit, pineapple & pine
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, some acidity, decent balance
Drinks alright, wanted a little more sweetness & little dryness. Krush hops always seem too dry for me. Subpar effort for these guys
