Can from Bird Girl. Nothing particularly new. Always enjoy a Citra /Simcoe collab. Don’t know Krush that well …so unsure the influence here. Always enjoy a TG or Boulevard. Nice bumped up danky dipa with nice mellow fruitiness around it. Smooth. Nice to try.

Eerily similar to last years TG/Boulevard 2x NE ipa Haze Cadet collab with a different hop combo, slightly more alcohol and the same impression See reviews of Haze Cadet.

Pours an opaque pale orange with yellow shades towards the thinner parts of the glass. Head is a few fingers of off-white foam. Aroma is pineapple, mango, grapefruit, and orange zest for a very tropical fruit forward punch. Doughy malts are present, but rather light. The first serving of this beer smelled mildly green, adding a potent sharpness, but this has since mellowed in the subsequent cans over the following days. Flavor profile is grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, and orange zest. Green notes were more apparent here, especially in the first consumption of this beer, but have since melted away. Very light doughy malts at the back. Yeast seems to linger, clinging to the tongue with some hop zest. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is fairly sharp for a NE IPA. Overall, for the price, this may be the best NE IPA I've ever had ($11.99/4 pck of 16oz cans.) Price point aside, this is a pleasant beer.
Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 16oz can. Reviewed live, but some notes are from previous consumption moments.
