A - Slightly cloudy, light peach color. Medium sized, bubbly, creamy, smooth, white head. Pretty good retention leaving a decent lacing.
S - Plenty of piney, resinous hop aroma. Bitter, oily hop aroma as well with a bit of soapiness. Touches of malt sweetness. There is just a hint of something that doesn't mesh well, but I can't quite figure out what causes it.
T - Like the nose, the hop profile is almost completely piney and resinous flavor. Fairly bitter taste. Some grassy and herbal aspects as well. Touches of sweet, bready malt on the finish.
M - Light to medium body with average carbonation. Fairly slick and oily. A touch on the wet side.
D - Definitely bitter but not overbearing. Refreshing and I could finish the large bottle, but it was slowly. Alcohol is well hidden.
Notes: A little too one-noted for my preference with the piney, bitter hops being very strong. Not a bad IPA and better than many of the other offerings from these guys. Not bad for the price, but nothing great.
