They carried the Local Bainbridge Island Brewing beer which was great and Bear Republic Racer 5 and that's about it for good craft beer. The location is great but a little too bright in the bar area. The bartender and server were not the friendliest. I was there later at night and the food was average at best. There was a couple friendly people at the bar who were waiting for the ferry which made the overall experience enjoyable.

My wife and I stopped here for a beer when we visited Bainbridge Island back in June. It's a typical bar & grille scene when you walk in. But out back, there is a really nice outdoor area. Doc's has a large grassy area in the rear that has plenty of tables for dining. But what I liked even better was there are also patio chairs that you can relax in. We grabbed two chairs and a drink table, and had a great view of the marina as we relaxed in the sun. Our waitress was friendly, and she came right to our chairs. Felt like a beach resort. They have several beers from Georgetown Brewing on tap here, plus special rotating taps featuring Deschutes and Boulevard Brewing. They also have some craft bottles, including more Deschutes. I had the Roger's Pils draft and my wife had a bottle of Deschutes Black Butte porter. Doc's was a cool place to have a beer on a sunny day.
