Pours with a nice dark amber colour and a fading head. A bit more hops on the aroma than the previous review? Maybe they've upped the hops since then? Lot's of malty, caramel taste at first with a lingering bitterness from the hops. But not too overpowering. Slightly oily after taste at the end which is a little unpleasant, but soon countered by another drink. Pretty good overall.

Pours dark amber with a small fading head.
Nose shows caramel with very soft spicy notes in the background. Very faint aroma.
Flavours are very similar; caramel and soft bready malt, along with a little honey.
Could use more carbonation.
Pretty devoid of hops seeing as they call this an American amber ale.
