I asked for this brewery to be added to BA, so I'd better review one of their beers!
500ml brown bottle, brewed for a British Armed Forces charity (10 pence from every bottle sold goes to 'Help The Heros').
The beer is bottle conditioned, so it was poured slowly into a pint sleeve: no sediment hit the glass, so the beer was hopefully its true colour, a dull gold, slight haze showing. the head was pure white and full, it did shrink somewhat but held its ground throughout the tasting. Wheat and Barley malts are used, which may account for the haze?
The aroma and taste are hop led, bitter and spicey, no list on the labels to help identify which variants are used.
Refreshing and wholesome, gets more bitter as the mouth dries, the hoppiness lingers well after the liquid has left the mouth.
Easy to drink and most enjoyable, one I'll look out for in future.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
