A German style pilsener made using a combination of Australian and imported pale, malted grains. This produces subtle aromas and flavours of bready malt, or cracker-like taste. The German hops provide the element of bitterness and floral flavours. That, combined with high carbonation makes this beer a drink for any occasion.

From Red Hill Provisions store. No BB

Pours very very pale straw. Slight haze. Two finger head. Nice foam later, little lace.

Aromas are of husks, grain, a little pineapple (!).

Taste is in your face. Big hop bitterness on back palate big malt mid palate. Pineapple continues, almost tart flavours little sweet n sour.

Mouthfeel is big... Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation.

A surprise package for a pilsner. Big beer. Doubt I would session, but good as a one off.

Pours pale gold with a large head fed by lively carbonation.
Nose is restrained but shows bready malt, hay and very soft spicy notes.
Flavours follow along the same lines but also include a grainy character.
Nice moderately high carbonation suits the beer well.

Propbably the smallest and least known Microbrewery in Victoria. Was suprised to see this on tap at The Local Taphouse.

A - Fairly clear light straw colour with a 3cm head that falls fairly quickly.
S - Herbal hop notes, light grainy character.
T - Much the same as the smell with a good balance between the herbal hops and light grainy malt flavours.
M - Light bodied, fairly high carbonation & noticeable bitterness.
D - A decent Pilsener that I'd drink again.
