Nice dark black colour with a couple of brown highlights. Good, creamy tan head. Good head retention. Good lacing.

Light coffee aroma. A touch earthy. Lacks something to bring it together and emphasise the goodness.

Starts off with a moderate roast and coffee flavour and flows into a moderately sweet yet slightly empty mid-palate. Light caramel flavours on the end.

Medium body with moderate carbonation. Okay but the carbonation is a touch prickly.

A decent stout but a bit more flavour would make this beer rock.
