Poured from a 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a chestnut color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grains, honey. Taste is grains, malts, some honey, light hops are present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a little different for the style, and an enjoyable beer.

This beer pours light orange, cloudy look, with a white two finger head, that dissipates rapidly. There is average carbonation and lacings sprout up here and there. It has a malt taste, strong notes of caramel, grains, and hops...it has smaller hints of metal and breakfast cereals (corn flakes). The aroma was light and disappeared after the pour, there is no bite or edge, there is a slight malt after taste, and it is not filling.

Out of a bottle this beer was a clear golden color with one finger of white head. The retention was not very good and it only left scattered spots of lacing. The aroma was of cereal grains, sweet malt, pale malt and a touch of grassy hops. The flavors were pleasant albeit a little uninspired. I tasted the sweet malt and pale malt first followed by the cereal grains in the center and a the grassy hops on the finish. The bitterness at the end gave the beer a clean finish and made it easy to quaff. The mouthfeel was good, the body medium and the carbonation correct for the style. A nice, inexpensive beer.

Picked this up for $2.29, why the hell not? Pours a very clear hay color. Can see easily through the glass but not how many fingers people are holding up. Some toasted malt, grassy and slightly floral and citrus hops, very clean. Nothing too fancy going on, but nothing wrong with this beer either. A very crisp bitterness fades easily into the toasted malt, which finishes clean with the grassy hops. A solid, if unspectacular offering. Likely will be revisiting this fine beer.
