Tap @ Brewdog, Rome - Pours clear amber with a medium white foamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Smell - light hops and malt. Taste - slightly malty with crisp dry bitter finish. Fine.

Drinking on tap and explained as a bitter adding with spelt: very strange.
The beer is cloudy orange with one finger of white foam, that falls easily.
At the taste you can clearly perceive, maybe too much, the spelt or at least the cereals notes. Later you feel the typical English hops and the malt. But the whole leaves quite puzzled. Also in the taste you can capture the flavour of cereals and hops, but with more amalgam, and due to the softness of the cereal a good drinkability can be found, even if English hops in the aftertaste become a little too heavy. Considering that this is a strange hybrid, it can be judged positive. Certainly a "standard" bitter is better.
