Beer almost black with little foam. Toasted smell, but what distinguishes its is an evident and extreme fresh mint (which was added in the form of extract). In the mouth toasted malt, even hints of mint in large quantities, but above all a very strong hint of liquorice. The beer is clearly unbalanced, but is also the first batch. The body is light, maybe too light, and so it results too watering.
At the end you feel too much liquorice in the taste and too much mint in the smell: it needs to be better balanced (as the brewer himself admits, indicating that he will use mint leaves for the future). As idea it is not bad and with a little work could become a refreshing and a full summer beer.
