Again quite an impressive looking one from Moskovskaya Pivovarennaya, comes in a traditional growler bottle in both 500 and 750ml sizes. After 5th Ocean this one is also made with the similar high standards, makes me feel that this Russian brewery is worth paying attention to.
Pours golden amber color into the glass with natural carbonation, this Original Ale follows the English Ale tradition of Fullers London Pride.
Quite smooth by the mouthfeel, a bit on the lighter side (4.90% ABV). The first few sips have a strange, suddenly bitter aftertaste but as the temperature thaws out a bit becomes the flavor fuller and rounder. Had a similar impression with 5th Ocean that its yeast felt weird until getting used to it by the half of the bottle, from then on had no doubt any longer - this is pleasant to drink.
Never imagined that Russia would be this good at making Ales, and this brewery from Moscow proves that they are very good at it. Would be glad to find and taste some more by them, might have to visit a Tesco in Bratislava in Slovakia again to be able to get a hold of their beers once more.

Previous version was Munich Helles, and was being brewed until 2015.
0,5 l bottle with a handler. 12% Plato.
Poured into pint.
Pours clear light copper/golden beer with decent off-white head, nice retention.
Smell - slightly fruity, caramel.
Taste - biscuity malts, some hop bitterness (Polaris).
Light body, medium carbonation.
No impressions at all.
