Poured from 22oz bomber into a pint glass.
Appearance: deep orange hue with a moderate haze and an indeterminate effervescence. Head is one finger of frothy tan foam with a decent lace left on the glass. Pretty attractive.
Smell: quite sweet malt with some alcoholic fruitiness and some light citrusy hop notes. Not a bad smelling beer, but not one I'd call "Hop Hammer".
Taste: deep malt flavor; not super heavy on the rye but it's definitely in there. Much like the aroma, there's a mild fruitiness going on. Bitterness is moderate, but acceptable.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a good creaminess, especially for the style. Not bad at all.
Overall: a decent beer; I kind of like it. It's not super hoppy as the name would suggest, but it's a tasty brew nontheless.
