First bier sampled during my first-time visit to Giesinger on 23SEP15. A 0.5l serving was €4.50.
Bier was a medium golden color, with a thinning, light layer of off-white foam and decent lacing. Aroma was on the lighter side, with wheaty notes and some banana evident. It felt rather smooth, with a medium body.
Started out a touch crackery with a smidge of clove. A bit more banana mixed with a hint of choco, and the finish was crisp and dry. Not bad; not great, but not bad. Prosit!!
