3,70€/,5L vom fass at the brewery on 20.09.2017
Notes: 5.5% abv. Typical weissbier appearance with a dark amber/orange body and golden highlights beneath a fluffy head of white. The aroma displays banana, clove, and a general kind of spiciness. The flavor follows with rich, grainy, wheaty and lightly caramelish malt. Some spicy hops help to balance it along with a moderate bitterness. Medium bodied, gently effervescent, and creamy as it becomes airy once warmed in the mouth. The head retention and lacing could be better for the style but are probably due to the slightly lower carbonation level which gives it such a nice mouthfeel so that's probably a fair trade-off.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy amber color with white head. Very good retention and lacing. Aroma starts sweet with wheat malt, slightly caramelized malt and ripe banana. Taste follows, sweet wheat malt, banana, cloves, slight bitterness on the finish and a touch of toasted malt. Medium body and carbonation. Really tasty hefeweizen.
