Vom fass at the brewery in Munich. This is similar to an American Pils, with a bright hoppy fruity flavor and feel. Has that crafty presence. Drinkable and fresh, this is a unique Pils for Germany. Delicious.

Purchased from Carwyn Cellars in Melbourne in November 2021 but not drunk until October 2022. Sometimes life and other beers get in the way...
Looks a very pretty, pale yellow in the glass, with a bright white, foamy head. Carbonation is scampering up the middle of the glass. Significant lacing is left on the way down.
The nose is sweet biscuit malt with subtle floral hops.
The taste is sweet biscuity malt with a nice bitter kick. The sweetness lingers retronasally and the bitterness also hangs around at the sides and back of the tongue. Very nice.
Mouthfeel is smooth. There's minimal carbonic prickle in the throat but nothing that stands out. This one could easily be drunk quickly or lingered over.
Overall this is an enjoyable beer that has held up well despite being in my fridge for over ten months. There was no use-by date on the bottle but I suspect this isn't the freshest example, having travelled from Germany before sitting in my fridge for so long. To taste as good as it did after all that is testimony either to my cellaring skills, or the brewing skills of the team at Geisinger. I suspect it might be the latter!
Cheers!

From the new style German stubbie, it pours a hazy light yellow golden color with a very nice large white head that slowly reduces. Herbal pilsner scent in the nose. Taste follows nose with some of the classic Pilsner bitterness that lingers as you enjoy the brew.

De Labirratorium. En copa de hefe de Bavaria. Jugando a Fortnite y, luego, a Hellblade. Pilsen maltosa y ligeramente oxidada con un cuerpo que por momentos se queda algo corto. No está mal pero tampoco es nada especial
