APPEARANCE: Pours a gorgeous, orange-ish, yellow color with a rocky, white head on top that's about an inch thick.
SMELL: Bready with a touch of caramel and a little citrus. Light, but very pleasant.
TASTE: Light, spicy hops up front with a quick transition to a nice, subtle maltiness. There's a bit of a sourdough bread thing going on here that I really like along with a lemony bitterniss towards the finish.
MOUTHFEEL: Light bodied, yet still sweet and matly with some substance. Carbonation is low, which seems to work well with this maltier Lager.
OVERALL: Really well-done example of the style and perfect for the summer, especially if you want something with more flavor than your typical Pale Lagers. If you're at the brewery and they have it on tap, grab yourself a glass.
