I picked up a sixer to see if I could find some Colorado brew that my Dad would like, since he is not up so much on the craft brew. It has a flavor of honey and biscuit and light citrus. Dainty texture and clean finish are par for the style. This is a good effort, especially in hot weather.

i like these guys a lot and dont think they get enough credit here in the market. this is a well done kolsch, super light, and really a beer i could do quite a bit of damage on this summer. on tap at the new crafty fox, who is keeping it real. clear and really heady, its white and creamy up top and has great retention, and if the beer didnt look so watery, this would be even sexier. cool lace as it sips too. the nose is a little bland, but the beer presents itself as fresh, grassy on the hops, german malty, and fairly traditional for the style. i feel like a lot of american brewers take liberties with the kolsch, and while this is an overly light version of the style, it seems to me to be rather true. more flavorful than a typical blonde ale type, there is a german flare to the grain base, not pils type bready, but very very pale. i like that it has some hops, more bitterness than flavor, but still, its multidimensional as light as it is. great carbonation and a dry quick finish, a little frothy on the feel too, nowhere near as watered down as it looks like it is. simple beer, but well done overall. ill drink this one again for sure...

This beer is a kolsch, which i like, and it is very, very delicious. It has helped me through this awful Super Bowl. Really everything that went wrong could. Why does the comment have to be 250 characters? Seems long, I'm more direct. Fifteen more characters! Victory!

A big thanks goes out to the previous reviewer, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a bright yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is very mild, some malts. Taste is crisp, lemons, some malts, a bit on the light side, flavor wise. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer, but nothing special.

The fruitless visit to The Old Lady is becoming another misty memory but the CANorado haul that I sent back CANtinues to further The CANQuest (TM)!
From the CAN: "Keep cold[,] drink fresh".
I heard a loud Crack followed by an inverted Glug that threatened to overflow the sides of the glass with the resulting two-plus fingers of dense, fizzing, bone-white head with moderate retention. Fortunately, I have learned when to back off and allow it to settle, so I was in the clear. It slowly reduced to soapy wisps and I was ready for my nightcap. Color was a lightly-hazy honey-yellow (SRM = 5 to 7). Nose was very light, slightly grassy. Mouthfeel was effervescent and fizzy on the tongue with a very light, grassy taste on the tongue. Finish was semi-dry, but the effervescence was what lingered more than the taste. It was not this was a bad beer, per se, but it lacked any presence, any Oomph. I understand the style, but this just was not there.

Poured out a 16oz can, 4pk.
Pale, light golden. Almost hay color. Small white head, about 1 finger up. Bubbles rising from the bottom. Looks like a Kolsch
Faint aroma of husk and grain. Wet biscuit. Very light. Some hints of spice and zip.
Flavor is not out of this world, but it's not supposed to be. It's subtle and unassuming. Light grain and biscuit, some lagerness. A refreshing hint of grassy hops and finishes light and easy. On the cusp of crisp.
Had another out of the can. Easier drinking from a pint glass, but still...that can didn't last long.

Bomber pouring light golden colour with foaming head, much of which lasts. Neutral aroma. Carbonation right there, bottled in August 2010. Thanks JMBSH. A bit better taste than a macro beer, purer, but nothing too interesting to drink more than a few mouthfulls. Gets a pass. Tad below average mouthfeel.
