Gose brewed with orange.
Can has an interesting quote:
"We were somewhere around Gila River, on the edge of the desert, when the Gose began to take hold"
Appearance - Pours a hazy sraw gold with four fingers of frothy bubbly white head.
Smell - orange, citrus peel, sea salt, sour aromas, spicy earthy hops, bready and biscuity malts, coriander, lemon, and earthy yeast.
Taste - orange, citrus peel, coriander, and sea salt upfront. The sourness, spicy earthy hops, lemon, bready and biscuity malts follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with high carbonation. Finishes sticky and tart with the orange peel and salt lingering.
Overall - A brew that displays the elements of the gose style well. An interesting concept using orange as one of the ingredients. A sessionable and respectable brew.
