BrewVic Maibock pours a very bright light amber with a nice head that doesn't linger too long. Some nice, fruity, spicy hops fill the aroma with a lot of sweet, light malt. Despite the lightness there is a a lot of complexity to the malt, maybe due to the triple decoction. There is enough bitterness to back up the malt nicely, without over shadowing it and there is a good amount of earthy, herbal and slightly spicy hops.
Overall the beer is really good, and way closer to style than when initially on cask at the moon.

Moon Under Water Brewery 'Brewvic Maibock' @ 7.0% , served from a 650 ml bottle purchased for $6.50
A-pour is a clear dark gold with a small off white head leaving a large streaky lace along the stein
S-a surprising amount of Meridan hops on the nose
T-big tasting Maibock , a lager with a kick ,
MF-low/mild carbonation , full bodied
Ov-ok beer , a strong tasting , hoppy but pleasant beer , that I would buy again
