Clear but very dark red-brown with a good head and decent lacing.
Not quite true to traditional style, veering towards a brown ale. Higher drinkability and lower ABV than usual for style. The lower ABV removes some alcohol flavors and aromas, creatnng a less complex beer. A bit smoky, however.
