Named after the CFC's most devoted supporters, this light yet flavorful brew presents a decided drinkability. Spalter Select hops give this German-style beer a slightly floral aroma, and an effervescent mouthfeel is followed by a crisp, clean finish.

Had Chattahooligan, after its evolution from a Euro Pale Lager into a Kölsch, in the beer garden of the Chattanooga Brewing taproom on draft into pint tumbler, and then poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped "CANNED ON 04/05/20121," into sort of pilstulpe.
Pours light gold with clarity and 1-finger, creamy near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving splotchy rings of lace down the glass. Stone fruit and floral aromas over mild biscuit malt. Begins smooth and mild, over crisping carbonation, then stone fruit, and mild biscuit malt, before a Noble hop crisp, drying finish.
On-style Kölsch, with a little more fruit and malt and a little less spice than some, that took me back to a Köln Biergarten.
