On tap at the brewery.

ABV = 5% -- a little high for style.

Hazy, golden bodywith a decent white head.

A bit more hoppy and bitter than expected for style. Hints of fruits too.

Light body with a semi-dry finish.

A: light golden color. 2 finger bubbly white head.

S: Citrus and some hop aromas hit the nose.

T: Bitter hops on the front with biscuit flavors lingering. Pretty crisp and refreshing.

M: Medium/light body. Slight crispness on the tongue.

O: Good refreshing beer for summer time. I am not a big Kolsch fan, but this one is pretty tasty!

Freshness: Unknown
Packaging: Growler
Glassware: Stange
Purchased: Filled at Corsair Taproom, Nashville

A: Clear, golden color with lots of bubbles streaming. Head is off-white, 3 fingers high, with good lacing and retention.

S: Noble hop aromas, with some citrus and floral smells as well.

T: Clean tasting, with similarities to a pilsner lager. Bitterness is medium and is the predominant taste, but there is also a slight citrus sourness and some bready flavors of the pale malts.

M: Thin body with a high amount of carbonation. Finish is dry with a tart and bitter aftertaste.

O: A pleasant beer; this was my first review of a Kölsch and it leaves me wanting to try more. This is a good summertime brew.
