August 9th, 2016 - A nice hoppy ale that blends some of San Diego's love for stank, with some happier memories from European brews. An intricate lace coats the glass, and perches above the nut brown brew. Pine trees and a little odor linger in the glass, and contrast with the flavor which is much milder. It's a little dank here, but biscuit and metallic notes attenuate that gym sock quality.

Very solid version of a West Coast IPA. I received this through a beer of the month club. A lot of pine and some citrus balance. The taste improved as I went along. I would have again if this brewery were local.

I'm a sucker for this style.
Strong piney notes are greeted with a strong piney taste.
Sort of surprised this is the first review of this beer; although I've yet to come across this gem in my local beer shops (save for tonight).
Definitely worth checking out.
