Poured into a glass at Mike Hess Brewery in Alpine, CA. Pours deep black with one finger of head; slowly recedes with nice lacing. Subtle tastes of chocolate, mint, and coffee. Very dry, per the style. Good.

Looks great, dark, thick head. Mint smell is poor, very much like a sweet extract. Mouthfeel is very thin for a stout - mint coated my mouth and I got almost no chocolate flavor.

Had on nitro draft at Waypoint Public. Super smooth with a biscuit flavor. Not tons of flavor but this might be because I drank it fast, before it had a chance to warm up. Great clean aftertaste that is slightly dry. Easy drinker, great with Brunch!
