November 22nd, 2016 - Another week, another Solis! Another beautiful brown brew with a nice head on my desk today, this time featuring a rusty metallic smell and a sharpness that entices, but also recommends caution. The flavor is mellower, but still has that metallic edge on the hop profile, followed by some grapefruit juiciness. Not ever Solis lands for me, but I do like this one. It's engaging but not overpowering, with a long aftertaste that gives a lot of value to the palate.

16 oz can, labelled batch 62 10/25/16. Pours hazy light orange with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet sugary tropical fruit and bready malt with resiny hops.
The flavor is sweet crystal malt with tropical fruit and resiny peppery hops with decent bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a nice sweet fruity IPA.
