Decent tasting light IPA with decent flavor and balance. Just didn’t start off well. Canned on 5/7/19. Should have known something was off because the cam was bulging at the bottom. Cracking it open released a torrent of foam and it was difficult to pour a reasonable amount of beer and head into a glass. Eventually settled with a load of fluffy white head without any lingering lacing. Smells faintly of some fruity and floral hops, malt, vanilla and bread. Taste follows the nose, some surprisingly bright, clear, crisp flavors though I was disappointed not to detect any juiciness. I expected more since this was billed as a NE style IPA. Smooth, clean, mild mouthfeel and decent carbonation. I’ll have to look for more offerings from this brewery that’s new to me.
