On tap at the brewery.
App: Hazy orange, smallish quickly sinking head. Nice lacing.
Smell: Lots of spices, floral hoppy aromas, boozy undercurrent.
Taste: Follows the nose. Pretty authentic take on a Belgian-style pale, very spicy, fruity, and boozy. Just the more assertive hoppiness reveals this as an American creation. Fruits, pepper, coriander, banana, clove, sweet candi sugar.
Mf: medium body with lively carbonation, sticky, smooth, and creamy while retaining the proper fizziness for the style.
Overall: Very well done and tasty. Big flavors and big booziness.

A: Hazy strawberry blond with a big white soapy head. Retention is good and lacing forms sheets on the glass.
S: Nice and spicy, with a blend of coriander and cumin. Fruity notes are redolent of apple, pear, and banana. Lightly floral with a dash of pepper. This smells great.
T: Strong apple and pear notes up front with trailing banana. Pretty spicy, I'm once again picking up cumin and coriander with some spicy white pepper-like notes on the back of the palate. Lightly bitter with a little alcohol (well hidden for the ABV) and bready malt. Moderately sweet. Decidedly Belgium.
M: Lower medium body with moderate carbonation, lending a creamy mouthfeel.
Overall: A nice Belgian Strong Pale. Good stuff.
