Amber color in the tall tulip glass with a modest head. Fruity, tart, and utterly drinkable. Malty with an edge of Belgian flavors. Not a lot of carbonation. Some caramel taste along with a hint of banana. Flabbier than the typical American version of the Belgian Pale Ale, but more like the Belgian Blonde style. Has a nice touch of the yeastiness with more than a whiff of the barnyard. A touch of sweetness that dries out toward the finish. Pleasant touch of hops but not bitter.
On tap at Local Habit in San Diego. This one would be nice to find in bottles some day.
