Quite sweet, malty aroma with some hoppy notes. The hops are subdued though and thouroughly dominated by the malt.
Fairly clear golden colour. The big, off-white head is short lived leaving only the barest lacing.
Again, this is pretty much a sweet mess of an IPA. There is too much toffee flavour and the hops are reduced to bitterness with just a hint of earthy hop character. There is also a bit of an alcoholic bite.
Medium-full body with low carbonation. This doesn't help the beer.
A fairly poor IPA. There is too much malt and the late hopping needs a massive increase. For a beer at 8.5% alcohol they could have done much better. For something they call an American inspired IPA, it is a let down.
