Bottle: Poured a dark black color stout with a super large light brown foamy head with excellent retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with loads of black cholate notes is quite nice. Taste is also a mix of heavy black chocolate notes with a dry finish with low bitterness. Body is about average of style with good carbonation. A little bit dryer then expected but enjoyable nonetheless.

Une stout comme on les aime!
On commence cette dégustation à Matane avec cette stout délicieuse dans des saveurs classiques de café. Ça nous met en appétit pour le reste de la soirée qui sera bien arrosée. Une deuxième bière de cette microbrasserie qu'on aime, après les Gros Chars, une IPA citra, on apprécie grandement la noirceur de cette stout. Une belle soirée en perspective.

Opaque black color. Thick creamy bubbly brown 3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with decent legs and good swirl reaction. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, dark barley, dark berries, and herbal hops. Creamy and silky medium body with light carbonation. Strong strength finish, slightly earthy, deep roasted and leafy, bold but very well balanced. Decent freshness and real smooth to drink. Overall high quality craft.
