Dark chocolate and instant coffee malt flavours. Hint of milk. Smell and imagined taste of old books. Not much on the hop front. Not much mouth feel. Not very drinkable.

Bottled
pretty much just above average above the board
IMHO a ever so slightly hoppier dark mild a lot better than most of Robbies bottle output but still lacking some.

500 ml bottle of Dizzy's Dark Side with a BB date of Dec. 2015. Served in a pint glass in Largoward, Scotland. ABV listed as 3.8%.
Pours with a dark but clear red-brown body topped by a large frothy, tan head. Very good retention and ample lacing.
Mild aroma with a mix of medium malts and fainter spicy hops.
Flavor: more bitter, earthy and hoppy than the aroma.
O: Improved with warming.
