L- Pale gold to mid-straw, clear, some rising CO2 and a 4-5mm white head, notably microscopic bubbles forming both. Most unusually 10mins later the beer is 1" lower, but the head is growing and now c10-12mm.
S- Fruity notes with a fleeting light citrus edge.
T- Citrus right on the front, grapefruit, pomelo, dry... pungently hopped enough that I cough and shudder.
F- Very dry, contemporary hops, probably refreshing if you can tolerate this level of bitterness.
O- This is brewed by Robinsons for the Co-Op. They also brew Old Tom which is my 7th highest rated beer of 1,278 to date. So I had pretty high hopes with this one. Maybe this'll suit if you're into well hopped modern beers, here the fruit notes are from Amarillo hops. For me the hops over-dominate and distract from the whole...
