Black and opaque...head is creamy, dense and leaves fine lacing. Aroma consists of roasted chocolate malt, espresso-like coffee. Flavor is rich...quite smooth and drinkable...as in session stout. Coffee bitterness is offset nicely by the milk chocolatey hints. The texture and mouthfeel are medium bodied. Well done. A nice (and rare) find in a pub in small town (Monza) Italy.
