2023/02/18 draught pour at the brewery taproom in Stoke, New Zealand. 1/6th of a $25 NZD tasting tray.
Lacks any discernable Noble hop flavour. Tastes like a budget lager brewed with pilsner malt. Not biscuity or dry like Pilsner Urquell, nor ultra clean drinking and crisp like many German pilsners.

Chalice from the tap at the brewery 10/3/14 from notes
A clear golden orange with slow tiny bubbles floating up to a short lived finger of foam that leaves a few random patches
S hint of hay, lots of lager yeast, some honey and lots of citrus with just a hint of spice
T again its a little yeasty, some lemon to go with what I smell, not as tropical as some Kiwi lagers I've tried but still quite pleasant
M n light and crisp, leaves a little grit behind, grass and a little lime rind linger
O another solid Kiwi Pil, lots of hops and a little more yeasty then others but easy enough to drink and worth a shot
very drinkable and suited for this warm day in sunny Nelson, the Kiwis seem tho have a style of their own going on down here
