2023/02/18 draught pour at the brewery taproom in Stoke, New Zealand. 1/6th of a $25 NZD tasting tray.
Citrus. Juicy hop flavour. Underwhelming in terms of hop pungency/depth of hop flavour.
Drinkable but underhopped. Feels like the kind of beer they brewed with zero excitement or inspiration because customers kept asking for a turbid pale ale, not a beer they really wanted to make. It's a bit of a crime Kiwi hops are put to such shit use in beers as underwhelming as this.
