Brew 1400 is a Double Mashed Doppelbock Dunkel. An anniversary should always be celebrated in style, which is why I have chosen that brew 1400 should be a Double Mashed Doppelbock that has aged 50 days in a storage tank before bottling. This is a beer with a large malt profile, moderate hop bitterness and lovely body.
It has an incredible number of exciting and beautiful nuances.
The beer is brew no. 1400 at the facility in Bringstrup.
Can be stored for many years to come.

Copenhagen 13/6 2024. 50 cl bottle from Larsen Delikatesser, Bredgade, Herning. Green label with a Casino-like label with a set of dices.
Pours clear dark brown with a red hue. Mid-sized off-white hed. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sugary sweet odor mingling with sharp alcohol and a bit of grains. Brown sugar in abundance, toffee and caramel. Metallic alcohol. Hints of leather.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a little sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a tart, bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sugary and boozy.
A very sweet and a bit boozy take on a Doppelbock.
