Copenhagen 18/6 2024. 50 cl bottle from Larsen Delikatesser, Bredgade, Herning. Yellow label in Det Lille Bryggeri's usual design with a honey heart and some Bees.
Pours clear dark brown with red hue. Mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles anarchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet sugary odor of malts and honey. Sweet toasted malts, brown sugar in abundance, sweet honey cake. A bit sugary.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a sugary sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is sugary.
Quite the sweet ride.
