An anniversary should always be celebrated in style, which is why I have chosen that brew 1300 should be a dark and strong beer, which many describe as the ideal goodnight beer. This is a beer to be enjoyed. It has an incredible number of exciting and beautiful nuances. Warning: it is strong, and always tastes like more. Can be stored for many years to come. The beer is brew no. 1300 at the facility in Bringstrup.

Copenhagen 15/ 2024. 50 cl bottle from Larsen Delikatesser, Bredgade, Herning. Dark label with the name of the beer and brewery set in a curved white frame on a dotty background. Apparently the brewery beer no. 1300 on their Bringstrup facility.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, dark odor of roasted malts and sugar mingling with earth fumes. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Licorice. Leather and humid soil. Whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Rather thin, oily, soft, viscous, flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Wholesome anniversary.
